My sister, Linda Arendale from Greenville, MS, is having a quadruple by-pass surgery tomorrow in Memphis, TN, in the back of her heart. She has other health problems which may complicate the surgery so our family is asking for prayers. She is diabetic, is currently on dialysis and has other heart problems which the surgeon feels he can correct while he is performing the by-pass.
Linda’s twin sister, Glenda James, suffered from almost identical problems about 3 1/2 weeks ago. She was admitted to the Vicksburg, MS hospital because of pneumonia. While in her room, Glenda’s heart stopped twice but her physician was able to resuscitate her both times. She underwent surgery to place a stent in the artery which is known as the “widow maker”. She is also diabetic and is on dialysis. She is doing well now and we give God the glory for the healing of her heart. We are praying that if it’s God’s will for Linda to be healed, it will be done.
Our family strongly believes in the power of prayer.
