My 86yr old mother Athena has been emotionally disturbed for many years and is now also quite physically restricted. The more she ages the more pain she feels physically and emotionally. Currently we are also dealing with a broken arm from a fall. My sister Emily has been her caretaker for over 25 years. This has taken a very high toll on my sister’s well-being who now is also manifesting mild mental illness and other serious problems herself. Our major family dilemma is – how, what – when – where – who – will be able to – help us take care of our mother – to relieve my sister mainly (& my brother) of this heavy burden. So far, as of now – all the common/conventional solutions – a nursing home, home care, all other care – our brother Christos, and even I – myself (Eugenia), living across the country – all – seem to – not – be the answer! This serious dilemma is causing enormous, additional pain & heartache in our already troubled family lives. As of now – only God’s great Grace, Mercy and His supernatural MIRACLE – will be able to help us – to find the right solution to this extremely troubling situation. I cannot explain in words how critical, how urgent, how serious this matter truly is for all, in our family of 4. Please pray especially for my mother Athena & my sister Emily – but also for my brother Christos – and myself Eugenia K.

Also Tomorrow, Wednesday November 26, 2014 Thanksgiving Eve – my sister Emily will be taking the train from Connecticut to Delaware.
The weather in the Northeast is supposed to be quite hazardous and at the end of the train ride my brother Christos is supposed to drive one (1) hour – with our elderly, sickly mother Athena in the car, to pick up Emily from the train station. My only family – living on the East Coast (I live on the West Coast) has been dealing with several serious physical, emotional, spiritual, and relational issues! It seems to be getting worse, and worse, one thing after another! – They all (3) need serious, healing, wholeness, deliverance, in every area of their lives. – They are supposed to spend Thanksgiving together, but with all the issues they have been facing, it ends up being a sad, disturbing time! My heart hurts greatly for my family, and I live too far away to be able to do much. I miss them greatly and I need your help in praying for them. They need great, healing, wholeness, deliverance – in all areas of their lives.

Please pray for my Nephew Brandon. He is 17 years old, has been having seizures since September. The doctors don’t know why he is having them. They did a sleep study on him and found out that he is having the seizures in his sleep. When he has the seizures his asthma kicks in bad. When this happens they have to go to the ER. Brandon plays sports and he had a head injury about a year ago.They are at the doctor’s in Portland now. Praying for healing. Pray that the Lord would show the Doctor’s what is causing the seizures. Hey!!! My friend Erin Profitt from working is fighting a downhill spiral against cancer. The cancer started out in her breast and then went into her liver. It has now progressed to her hips and is spreading. She has been doing chemo and radiation with no luck. Erin is currently in ICU and needs all the prayer she can get. She is young 32 or 33 yoa and has 2 kids. Please pray for her, I’ll keep you updated—- Vicky

My marriage has been failing for months. In July I felt the need to get a restraining order against my husband he did not physically harm me but he scared me enough that I felt like I needed to do something about it. We have been together 17 years and that was not the first time he scared me or was verbally abusive. He blames me for every problem in our marriage and is unwilling to see a marriage counselor with me although I still go see one every week. He ignores me,he ignores his responsibility as the head of this household and spends his energy playing basketball with friends and smoking weed with friends. The children and I are not his priority.
