My son Timothy was married a few years ago. He cheated on his wife which resulted in a baby. He left his wife to live with his girlfriend and baby but did not divorce his wife. He has since started drinking heavily and speaking of suicide. A lot. He has already tried, unsuccessfully. This family has a history of suicide. This would be third in a row, each one a different generation. Please pray for the Holy Spirit to intervene and speak loudly to him; to fill him with hope; to open his eyes to the beauty that is his family God has blessed him with. Please pray for him to return to his roots and seek Jesus with all his heart. And please, please pray for this “generational curse” to be broken once and for all in Jesus name! I really really need some Prayers for my husband and I. We are going through some bad things in our relationship where he is putting his hands on me and I ask God every day to help us get through it but I need some help with this please. Please pray for Mike who helps out at Hands of Hope, attends CR and other events. We call him “Big Mike”.

Mike was in ICU last night due to extremely low blood pressure.. They just moved him to another room, is feeling better and plans on going home tomorrow (10-20-13). Praise God!!

Please pray for my sister-in-law Linda Watt. She is having heart surgery today on the valve in her heart. She use to be a Born Again Christian when she was younger. Her & my Brother Rick are now Buddhist. I have been praying for them for years. Rick never wants to hear anything about Jesus! I pray that this will bring her back to the Lord & get my Brother to except Jesus!!! – Sherry Griffith

Please pray for this fall and winter activities in Romania and Hungary:
1) for my daughter’s ministry in the first part of November,
2) for an evangelistic effort we will make in a Hungarian town of Medgyesegyhaza, where there is no local evangelical church. (this town is about a 45 minute drive from where I live in Romania. Of course we will use a public hall as it will be winter time.)
3) for ministry to men in particular in churches in Romania, Hungary and even in Italy.
4) Please pray for my health as I again am under treatment for prostate cancer.

Just wanted to send out a quick update before the newsletter and let you all know that this year has started off different! There is a different vibe in Chi Alpha this year. We are seeing miraculous growth in several of our returning students and about half of our group are those who don’t have a personal relationship with Jesus yet. We also have some international presence and want to ask you, or friends in prayer, to lift them up to God and ask for His Spirit to draw them to following Jesus.
