OFTEN times people think that they are made sick by God as some sort of punishment. While in the story of moses we see that there were plagues cast onto the egyptians, and God did in fact let satan sift job and he had boils all over his body. Sickness itself and disease isnt something that God passes out to his children when they misbehave. If that were true then shy didnt peter or paul cast diseases on the romans and jews who persecuted them? After all Jesus gave us the same power to cast out sickness and demons that he had and that paul and peter have. Luke 10;9 look i have given you AUTHORITY over all the power of the enemy and nothing will injure you. in Matthew 10:8 it says Heal the sick raise the dead heal those with leprosy, drive out demons, freely you have received, freely give. in John 9 1:4 it give the story of the man who was healed he was born Blind. and the jews were insisting that he himself had either sinned and was born blind or that his parents had sinned and was born blind as a result of their sin. BUT— Jesus himself answered and said the blindness (or sickness) was not given out by God as a punishment for sin but rather it was allowed so that God could be glorified by showing his power of healing. It is interesting how thomas gets called “doubting thomas ” because he insisted on touching jesus’ wounds after he suffered unto death. jesus didnt call him doubting thomas, he said blessed are you for believing when you touched my wounds and at times i believe its why we suffer. to show people our wounds and say yes, you can stick your finger in my wound and see, that God is able to heal and cast out demons and raise from the dead. in certain cases DEMONS OR DEMONIC SPIRITS ARE THE CAUSE OF SICKNESS, THE WOMAN SUFFERED AND BEEN CRIPPLED BY SPIRIT OF INFIRMITY FOR 18 YEARS. HELLO ITS A SPIRIT THAT DID THIS TO HER. LUKE 13:11… A DEMONIC SPIRIT CAUSED SIMONS MOTHER IN LAW TO BE SICK.. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION THE THE WORDING OF THIS SCRIPTURE:::: SO HE BENT OVER HER AND REBUKED THE FEVER AND IT LEFT HER. so why would jesus rebuke an inanimate object? why would the scripture be so specific as the lady with a SPIRIT of infirmity? the bible is clear that my people suffer because of lack of knowledge, if demons were not real and did not cause us harm then why did the legion of demons cast the boy into the fire and make him act crazy? why would jesus be so specific in telling us that we have the power to cast out demons and over all the power of the enemy? if they were not real and not a threat then why give us power over them and power to cast them out? those are two different issues, power over them and then power to cast them out, demons are real and in this case i feel that your sister cindy is going to be healed to glorify jesus, but you my friend are under demonic attack and satan came to steal rob and destroy. there is something satan does not want you to do for christs glory it has to do with your ministry. and satan is literally trying to kill you. but fear not you have AUTHORITY over all the power of the enemy. for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities in high places. that is one more thing in order for you to fight satan, fight with knowledge, you must know and understand how your enemy works in order to deflect his attacks. read daniel 10:13 it says gabriel was with held from bringing God’s answer for 21 days because of a demonic force in the heavenly realm. and in jude 1:9 michael the arch angel is fighting satan over the body of moses and he doesnt yell at satan or tell him off or call him stupid or argue with satan,, the only thing he does is fight with the written word , be careful the only way to fight satan is first to understand that he was once an angel in charge of praise and worship and he is jealous and wants to destroy thsoe who love jesus and he isnt in hell millions of feet below the earth, he is in the air on the way up to heaven thats how he blocks our prayers and the only thing that kills satan and his demons out of your life and body is the word of god and praise and worship. be healed in the name of jesus and i rebuke these evil spirits attacking my sister in the name of jesus. for it is written he sent us out to preach and to have authority to drive out demons mark 3:15
