HI All

Please lift up my best friends husband Joe in prayer.  Joe has been a success story for a long time and now has slipped a bit.  Joe was a Christian Scientist and would never go to the Doctor, they have a daughter with Down Syndrome and I used to have to come over to give her medicine if Carolyn was not home as he would not.  He would suffer through injuries, sickness etc.. After many years of prayer he started to come to church with Carolyn and actually started going to the Doctor.

They moved to Texas about 10 years ago and although we are far away she is still my prayer partner and we talk sometimes daily.  She called this morning very distraught about Joe and his health.  Evidently he feels he has had 3 heart attacks but none of them confirmed by a Doctor.  Just recently Joe lost his mother and he has been in a bit of a depression.  When he finally told Carolyn about these Heart Attacks she asked him who he was going to see about this and he said he was going back to the Christian Science church only.  So, you can see we need prayer, please pray for Joe;

1) That he will get medical help ASAP

2) That he will not allow any kind of Cult to ruin the relationship he had started to build with the Lord vs the CS beliefs

3) Help with his depression

4) Comfort and strength for Carolyn and how to deal with the 3 teenage boys at home and her down syndrome daughter
