Report from nurse & eyewitness account! For Shawna Morley – Jan 10,2016! So we have been working on baby steps! Excited about every little thing. The doctors say there won’t be any wake up and everything is better. Very slow progress only! Well God didn’t agree! So I am at a very difficult and wonderful unrelated celebration of life for a 3month old precious baby who had died. When I left my phone was message after message! Shawna is asking about Kevin!!! I called and said I was headed straight there to help tell her. Everett and Elisha had to tell her just before I arrived. She was to insistent. When I got there she was totally different (which was way more like Shawna than we had seen yet) no baby steps, Olympic runner kind of progress! Like I could not believe it! She knew everyone by name and title! Pastor, Aaron, dad, Everett, aunt Carroll, aunt Theresa, uncle, mike! Elesha and on and on and on. It was sad on a few occasions she talked about missing Kevin and not wanting to be alone. We told her she wouldn’t be left alone! She knew where she had worked! (The last four jobs) She loved when we prayed! She loved her ice chips (3+cups). She loved a wet wash cloth and washed her face over and over and kept telling us she had a headache! It was amazing! I always try and be strong but I had to turn away with tears of joy and relief! So amazing! Thank you Jesus! Thank you Doctors, nurses, prayer warriors, family, friends and even complete strangers!!! She said her left leg and arm were heavy (still no movement but total feeling)! She would rub her face because she has a rash. She asked for a hair brush and when we finally got one, I said look what I have. I held up a brush and I said “do you know what this is?” And she said yes “it’s crack!” I thought she didn’t know what the name of the hairbrush was. Then she took the brush started combing your hair and said that is like crack! Then we all realize she was actually joking and she smiled. What an amazing amazing night! My wife Kristy came and combed her hair and braided it. And we had such an amazing time! We still have a long road ahead but wow! This is so encouraging! Lots of !!!!!! We are praying they will release her to start doing some eating or drinking tomorrow. Please keep on praying with us! This report is excitedly given by Pastor Aaron Taylor on behalf of the family, church and Friends! Wow wow Wowsers! Thank you Jesus! The best is yet to come! – Pastor Aaron Taylor
