First, I want to thank you Pastor Aaron for all the prayers that I received when I was in the hospital…my daughter Chenoa Knowles came to Eugene to take care of me from Reno, Nevada and on Friday the 22nd we were out doing errands and on the LTD bus and she lost her wallet…please pray that someone turned her wallet in to the the bus office. thank you! – Jade Sotelo-Kahawai, Eugene, OR

I was asked by Jennifer Reed Sherman to please ask for prayer for her neighbor Mrs. Compton. She came home to find her 44 yr. old Son dead on the bathroom floor. The cause of death is unknown at this time. He left behind 4 children: 2 girls age 5, & 2 boys age 6. Mrs Sherman is very stressed, & doesn’t know what to do about the children. She is unable to take care of them on her own because she has very bad health. The mother is a drug addict, & is in & out of jail. Please pray for direction & for God to be in this horrible situation. Thanks, Sherry Griffith

This prayer request is for Elizabeth Deatherage. She needs prayer for a knee infection that she has from a fall last week and cut her knee, She has to take antibiotics and when she takes them she throws them back up. Elizabeth also is 9 weeks pregnant, so the meds. need to stay down for her and the new baby that is growing. Pray that in Jesus name she is healed from this infection and she stops throwing up the antibiotics. Thank you for praying. – Janice Penuel

I have 3 requests.. A friend of mine’s husband died just a week or so ago and she is not doing real well. Please pray that Jehovah Shalom, our God of Peace, would encompass around her. She needs wisdom at this time and direction. She’s off work for a stress claim and her work is wanting her back ASAP although she is not ready. Her doctor gave her a 90 day leave prescription. Her life has just been very difficult the past 2 years in particular. My heart is just broken for her. Her husband was an alcoholic to the max and died of liver failure. She took care of him with so much love and compassion you could not believe it. When anyone would remark on that her answer was: “Well. I signed on for better or for worse.” A true example of a Servant of God. Please lift my friend up for comfort and peace and healing.

Prayer req #2 Also, a man named Mike was just diagnosed with Hodgkin’s disease. That is cancer of the lymph glands. They don’t know if it’s the non-hodgkins type, which is the killer, or the regular on which is treatable. Makes no difference. Our Jehovah Rophe, the God that heals, can take care of it.

Prayer Request #3 My friends have not heard a word from their son for about 2 months. He is not walking right with the Lord and needs help there and also that he will contact his parents who worry about him.

Hi.

I know you guys all work 24/7 kind of crazy days so I may sound totally pathetic but, here goes.

Tim and I are working the shop alone. I got in an accident this morning. $350 for the ticket, $500 for the deductible; money we don’t have.

I am working here 9 am til whenever, then at a pizza parlor from 5 or 6 pm to close which is between 9:30 and 11:30 at night.

I have three children at home to take care of also.

I kow we are under attack, have been under attack, and I think the biggest factor for us is our family. I feel like satan is trying to tear our family apart and so far we just pray more. In all honesty, I don’t think I can take anymore attacks. I’m frustrated, tired, etc. etc. etc.

Please pray for peace in our family, prosperity in our business endeavors, (we’re having a hard time just getting the warranty payments), and for satan to leave us alone and for our family to stand strong in this storm.

It’s like you’ve heard before. The redwoods. Their roots are shallow and they are massive so, they hold each other up. That’s what we’re trying to do right now. Just holdin’ each other up. In prayer, with our words, in our deeds.

Charlotte Johnson, 66 years old, is in the end stage of cancer and is not expected to live much longer. Her family has asked us to pray for her and have said that she is a believer in the Lord. Please pray for her and her family.

We just found out our Uncle Steve has bladder and prostate cancer. He has to see his cardiologist to see if his heart is healthy enough to take them out. Pleases keep our whole family in your prayers. – Aaron Huntington
