Update on Josiah Pimentel:
CAT scan showed Colitis & inflamed gallbladder. Treating him with antibiotics and pain meds today. Tomorrow he will have his pic line put in.(under sedation, of course) so that he can begin to get some nutrition in his system again. They don’t want him to eat any food as the colon is soooooo inflamed. He did rest well today thanks to the pain meds. Tonight his fever did go up again, but they feel that is due to the colitis. Last night around 2:30 am his fever spiked and they had to take blood immediately to see if there was infection. His veins are so beat up they had to draw from his foot…this was not well received by the little man already in enough pain. Pray he can avoid that tonight!. Three most major prayer requests (goals before he can go home). There must be a cessation of pain without meds, he must have a close to normal stool and he must be able to eat. The dr’s aren’t too optimistic that these goals will be met until sometime next week, but we know we serve an incredible God. So, please, pray with me that he will show dramatic improvement and even be able to return home by Sunday!

This is for my nephew Josiah and my sister Teresia’s family. Josiah got salmonella poisoning while in SC visiting my other sister Sally’s family. They did a cat scan on Josiah. He has colitis and an enlarged gallbladder along with the salmonella. He is on antibiotics. He only has an IV in right now. No pic line. Please keep them all in your prayers. – Beth Bjerklund

My Dad has a spot of cancer on his prostate. The Doctors want to watch it for awhile. Please pray they watch it go away and that it’s so clear it was God that it’s a true testimony to all involved. – Mel Hite

Please pray for a family friend Dean Ludeman, he has had several heart surgeries & just had stents put in the veins in his legs. He’s an extreme Diabetic & doesn’t take care of himself like he should. – Sherry Griffith

Please lift up a gentlemen that attends Crossfire named Chris. He just recently moved back to the Springfield area after the death of his mother. He had taken care of her for the last couple of years as her health was declining. Chris has a lot of physical ailments from car accidents and his military service and lives in a lot of pain. Between the physical pain and the emotional pain of the loss of his mother (and only living relative he had) it is almost too much. Chris needs to feel like he is part of a family and needs to get involved in some type of group, please pray for his physical healing and pain to be relieved, his emotional and spiritual healing and for doors to open for him to join a group. He needs lots of encouragement during this difficult time. If God puts him on your heart, please lift Chris up.

We are in the hospital (7/27/2014) because my wife, Terrah, has an infected tooth and is in a lot of pain. Please pray for relief for the pain, healing, and guidance with finding a good and inexpensive dentist. – Hudson Barkley

I JUST TOLD HIM THAT I WAS PRAYING FOR HIM & THAT GOD WILL WORK IT OUT! HE SAID THAT MADE HIM FEEL BETTER SO HE’S NOT SO BUMMED OUT – BREAKS MY HEART WHEN MY KIDS ARE UPSET – I’M SOOO BLESSED TO HAVE SOMETHING POSITIVE TO SHARE W/HIM

I’m requesting prayer for my entire family, but mainly my husband who is hooked on Ecstasy. i believe he wants to change but he won’t seek professional help. He told me only God can help him and that I should not give up on him. We are behind on all our bills because of his drugs use and sometimes we go hungry because of it.
