hi, i just wanted to let you know that im praying for your cousin. im sorry that he isnt a christian, my mom just died 2 months ago and she refused to give her life to the lord, im sharing that because people say that , oh everyone goes to heaven. and its not true, the lord says that i am the way the truth and the light and no man comes to the father except by me. you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free, im telling you this because God really did give us free will, and no not everyone who dies magically goes to heaven. i encourage you to share this with your cousin, because you asked for prayer for salvation, i encourage you to instead pray that he chooses salvation it is a choice. one my mom didnt make and its devistating to know that no matter how much i really do love jesus, and follow him and am saved myself, in the end its not enough for any one but me, im in mental anguish knowing that i will spend eternity without my mom. her last words were death to all holy rollers and that she hates jesus. i want the impact of that to be shared with your cousin, because maybe if he realizes how much pain it puts someone who loves you in, to know that you wont be with the lord and spend eternity in pain and darkness with satan, maybe that will help him to choose life. this isnt what you expected as a prayer for your cousin, most people think oh push a magic button and have a happy prayer and all will go to the pearly gates. i pray that your cousin will be healed and make the choice to follow christ. and there arent any special words you have to say, did you know that the “sinners prayer” is a man made prayer? it isnt in the bible anywhere and paul and peter who are the two i identify with the msot never gave an alter call never said repeat this sinners prayer instead they told about the truth of christ and all he did for us and that being or getting saved comes with the profession of the mouth what you believe in your heart, in other words the world of christianity can confuse and turn off non believers by making them feel there are all these certain things that you have to do to be with jesus and there isnt . God be with you and share a funny scripture because laughter is the best medicine in acts 20:7-12 a young man named eutychus was literally bored to death by paul’s sermon, he fell asleep while paul was preaching and fell to his death 3 stories out of a window sill, the funny part is , paul didnt skip a beat, just kept preaching and walked to the boy, threw himself on him, ressurected him and made him listen to the rest of the sermon after bringing him back to life.
