Please pray for my son Richard Shaffer and his wife Jennifer and their 8-year-old child. Jennifer recently had an affair and a child by that affair. She doesn’t know the Lord and doesn’t see anything wrong with what she has done. Richard has been caring for both the children and the stress of the whole situation is making him sick. Pray for peace for Richard, that Jennifer will come to know the Lord, and that their marriage will be restored.

My granddaughter Sarah is on meth and just had her children taken away. Pray for her to come to know the Lord and for her children.

Gordon is going into surgury this morning at 9:30. Please pray for wisdom and expertise for the surgeon and for a good outcome for Gordon

Please pray for Elizabeth Deatherage. She is beginning to get strep throat, but she is one of a small percentage of people who, when they begin to get sick with a cold or strep throat, their throats close off and starts to suffocate them. She was released from the River Bend ER today and has been prescribed bedrest, steroids, and a heavy antibiotic. Pray for rest and healing.

Liz got hurt at work and is unable to work. Looks like she will need back surgery. We have no income. We will make it through; we always do, but now we can’t go to the women’s retreat. We also sponsor 2 kids from other countries. We give to K-LOVE and the church. We need prayer that somehow we can continue to do that, and our bills need to be prayed for. And that Liz gets healed.

Thank You, Jesus! Please keep showing DHS and those attached to the case with our children that we are worthy of our family. This past week, the worker that runs our visits with our older children will be moving the visits back to a less restrictive visiting center, and she says she doesn’t see where we have issues parenting our children. Please keep guiding us to reunification with our children. Amen. Thank you, Jesus!
