We are happy to introduce you to Liz Dickman, who has worked as a design assistant at MDI since August 2020. Liz graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a major in Interior Design and a minor in Decorative Arts and has been in the design industry ever since.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She\u2019s lived in Charleston for 13 years and has a diverse design background in residential interiors and design for healthcare settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00a0As for her favorite part of her job at MDI, Liz says she loves working with creative people. \u201cI\u2019ve never had an opportunity to work with an office full of designers so it\u2019s very refreshing and exciting to see what everyone\u2019s doing. The dynamic in MDI\u2019s office is fun and vibrant,\u201d she says.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Liz\u2019s aesthetic is clean and simple with fun pops of color. She also likes to include texture and personal touches such as photos and pieces she finds on her travels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Liz has a very active family. With three boys, she is always on the move and outside. When Liz is not at work, she and her family like to visit the beach and local parks. \u201cWhen my husband and I get a chance to sneak away we love to visit the local breweries in town and try new restaurants,\u201d she says. A favorite is Rue De Jean for muscles, truffle potato soup, and a lyonnaise salad.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
