Each February, our city is full of visitors attracted to SEWE\u2019s educational conservation programs, social events, sporting demonstrations, and fine art fairs. In honor of SEWE this weekend, we\u2019re reminiscing about some of our favorite natural motifs in <a href=\"https:\/\/margaretdonaldsoninteriors.com\/portfolio\/\">past projects<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8291\" src=\"https:\/\/margaretdonaldsoninteriors.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Casual-Creekside.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8292\" src=\"https:\/\/margaretdonaldsoninteriors.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Casual-Creekside-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This vacation home on <a href=\"https:\/\/margaretdonaldsoninteriors.com\/portfolio\/debordieu\/\">DeBordieu Creek<\/a> is full of natural details. The fireplace is wrapped in reclaimed wood, while the rug, baskets, and upholstery echo the texture of sweetgrass. Accessories or lighting made from oyster shells are always among our favorites, and working in a client\u2019s collection of sweetgrass baskets is a delight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8293\" src=\"https:\/\/margaretdonaldsoninteriors.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Cassique.Files_.1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8294\" src=\"https:\/\/margaretdonaldsoninteriors.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Cassique.Files_.-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Our <a href=\"https:\/\/margaretdonaldsoninteriors.com\/portfolio\/cassique-cottage\/\">Cassique Cottage<\/a> project centered around organic, natural accessories and motifs. A pair of black and white alligator paintings grace the fireplace, and a work of art made from cast sand dollars steals the show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8295\" src=\"https:\/\/margaretdonaldsoninteriors.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Ion.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8298\" src=\"https:\/\/margaretdonaldsoninteriors.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Donaldson2018_4_Ion-390.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Our <a href=\"https:\/\/margaretdonaldsoninteriors.com\/portfolio\/ion-eclectic\/\">I\u2019on Eclectic<\/a> project illustrated the softer, more feminine side of nature. Details in the master bath include shiplap walls and a colorful finch painting by local artist, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atriumartgallery.com\/artist\/joseph-bradley\">Joseph Bradley<\/a>. The addition of pure Lowcountry indulgence, a hanging bed swing, brings the outdoors in, year-round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8297\" src=\"https:\/\/margaretdonaldsoninteriors.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Oceanside-1600x1173.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8296\" src=\"https:\/\/margaretdonaldsoninteriors.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/oceanfront-1600x1175.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The living space of this incredible <a href=\"https:\/\/margaretdonaldsoninteriors.com\/portfolio\/oceanside-luxury\/\">oceanfront home<\/a> is the perfect backdrop for natural elements and motifs. Check out the coral pattern on the upholstery and the print of Darwin\u2019s iconic pelican.
