At MDI, we love designing home offices because they give us a chance to combine functionality, organization, efficiency, comfort, and aesthetics. Oceanside\nLuxury<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This sleek shared home office\ngives each of the homeowners their own space, plus a large desk for working\ntogether. Custom built-in cabinets keep office essentials tucked away, and\nluxurious, understated desk chairs give the room a peaceful, classic vibe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Refined\nRetreat<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a home nestled\non the Kiawah River, this office\nwas designed to take advantage of the verdant views. We split the door on this\nroom, so the homeowner\u2019s furry friends have a quiet place to chill when their\nfamily is out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Relaxed\nRiver View<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This office\nproves your working space doesn\u2019t have to be big to be functional. We carved a\nnook out of the kitchen for a small office that features a handsome built-in\ndesk and supply cabinet. The best part of this niche is that the view might\neven make you look forward to going to work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kiawah\nClassic<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Designed for a home\non Kiawah Island, this masculine office\ntakes advantage of the beautiful scenery outside. We lined the walls with\ncustom floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and cabinets for abundant storage and added\ncomfy seating for visitors.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Modern\nSullivan\u2019s Island<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

These homeowners\nrequested a shared home office.\nHis semi-circular wood desk has strong lines and a warm tone that contrasts the\ncrisp white, black, and blue-grey tones in the room. Her desk is elegant and\nsleek with more than enough room to spread out. A gas fireplace takes the chill\noff winter workdays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rhetts Bluff<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This lovely Kiawah\nhome got an extra-functional shared home office and reading\nroom. The desk is contemporary with sharp lines and a bit\nof shine. We added a plush leather club chair for catching up on the news and\nlined the opposite wall with floor-to-celling with bookshelves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Classic\nCassique <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Offices don\u2019t have\nto be all work and no play. In this lovely Kiawah home, her office\nis designed to be a getaway for watching TV, reading, and catching up on\ncorrespondence. This graceful study features a desk, a wall of built-ins, a sitting\narea, fireplace, and plenty of style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Surfsong\nBeach<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a cozy shared office space\nwith a built-in desk big enough for two. The light-filled corner of the\nupstairs landing is the perfect place to work, do homework, or hang out\ntogether.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
