<\/p>\nWallpaper gives a room a big shot of personality and energy, and we’re loving the new trends. Modern wallpaper is ultra stylish, easy to install, and easy to remove when your tastes change. There are nearly infinite choices these days – so many in fact that we have an entire room devoted just to a library for wallpaper samples. Here’s how our team, some of the best interior designers in Charleston, used wallpaper in recent projects: <\/p>\n

We used this very contemporary watercolor wallpaper by Phillip Jeffries, Ltd. in our client’s home office. The graduated lines make this petite room look larger, and provide movement and interest in an often overlooked part of the house. The darker colors toward the bottom anchor the room without overwhelming it.<\/p>\n

We haven’t used this fun wallpaper by Pierre Frey yet, but we can’t wait to find the perfect setting to try it out. This colorful free-for-all would be great in a kid’s room, in a small powder room, or in a craft room.<\/p>\n

Wood paneling wallpaper<\/strong> is growing trend that adds architectural detail to walls without the hassle of installing wood panels.\u00a0 Wood look wallpaper adds a little rustic charm to modern, casual interiors and is an ideal backdrop for almost any style of decor. We used this wallpaper in the entire first floor of a project and the end result was amazing. A small powder room gets a big dose of personality with whimsical fish wallpaper. The fun motif works perfectly in this relaxed Arts & Crafts house on Kiawah Island. (See more here<\/a>.)<\/p>\n Seagrass wallpaper never goes out of style. We used different versions of this textured wall covering in the powder room, mud room, and foyer in our Classic Cassique<\/a> project on Kiawah Island.<\/p>\n
