Beth Black is a Pontotoc, Mississippi native who graduated from Mississippi State University<\/a> with a degree in Interior Design. Beth\u2019s experience in the industry makes her a great addition to the MDI team<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Beth is passionate about beautiful, functional furniture and loves using local Charleston artisans to bring a project to life. \u201cIt\u2019s really great to be able to work with a furniture maker or an artist and commission them to craft the perfect wood table or paint a stunning oil painting specifically for our client. It can make such a difference in making the space feel personal and collected,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n

Beth also draws constant inspiration from our charming historic city – from the scenery to the architecture. \u201cI love the beautiful shades of blue, green and gold and the ever changing seasonal color palettes of Charleston,\u201d she says. \u201cI am amazed at the ironwork and old brick downtown.”<\/p>\n

When she isn\u2019t at the studio, you might find her gardening, antiquing (no wonder why Margaret loves her!), watching her son play baseball, watching her daughter perform, or traveling with her family.<\/p>\n
