When the homeowners first set foot on their Kiawah Island oceanside property, they stood with their arms outstretched. They knew they wanted to build a house that embraced the view – and their friends and family. Inspired by the open arms them, they built the house in a V-shape, as if it, too, was embracing the view. \"Looking<\/p>\n

The homeowners wanted a color palette of Kiawah Island beachy tones: Browns, blues, grays,sea greens, neutrals, oyster and champagne (they love both).\u00a0 We mixed natural elements and textures along with locally shopped art and baskets.<\/p>\n

The large sliding glass doors open to transform the house into an indoor \/ outdoor abode with no boundaries and a beautiful view of Kiawah Island.<\/p>\n

On the second floor, glass interior side walls constantly allow for an amazing view. A dual desk, similar to what you might see on a yacht, features views that go through the front of the home to the media room and balcony.<\/p>\n

A lofty master bedroom on the 3rd floor has a bird’s eye view from everywhere – including the shower! The entire room is open from front to back creating a floating vignette with the bed in the center.<\/p>\n
