We kept furnishings neutral and on a small scale so your eye travels right through the room to the trees, water and marsh grass outside. Even the horizontal stripes in the rug act as a visual runway. Talk about a room with a view! We dispensed with window coverings wherever we could so the scenery would always be part of the interior story. We kept the furniture minimal and gave it plenty of room to breathe.
