The home has had light renovation over time, but overall the design is a delightful combination of old and new.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4740\" src=\"http:\/\/littlehighrise-dev.com\/~md\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/img-327.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"482\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Margaret is also a lover of art, especially locally created paintings. Edgar Allen Poe dominates the entry hall, a piece painted by Charleston\u2019s John Carrole Doyle.<\/p>\n<p>Margaret\u2019s recently renovated kitchen is marvelously modern yet meaningful. It features a single tree slice wooden bar that maintains a living edge on both sides. which was built by local artisan Billy Compton.
