We love all of the decor possibilities this time of year brings, and we don\u2019t mean you have to decorate in traditional Easter fashion with eggs aplenty. There are so many cute and quirky ways to celebrate the beloved holiday, including a few you may not have thought of. So we asked everyone at MDI to send over their favorite Easter decor ideas, and we\u2019ve compiled them all here for you to peruse. We hope you enjoy. Oh, and Happy Easter!<\/p>\n

Alex shed some light on Easter decor when she sent us this adorable design idea, a Wildwood<\/a> hand-painted porcelain Dignified Rabbit Lamp. Perfect for Easter but also great for the kids\u2019 room year-round.<\/p>\n

Elisabeth Lyons<\/h4>\n

Elisabeth submitted this wonderfully whimsical wallpaper pattern by William Morris and Co.<\/a> she was introduced to in her History of Design class. This Brer Rabbit pattern was inspired by a 17th-century Italian silk registered for a pattern for the first time in 1882. Named after the Uncle Remus story popular at the time, this wallpaper was reproduced from the original fabric.<\/p>\n

Alexis Wilks<\/h4>\n

Meet The Egg, a favorite from Alexis: Designed by Arne Jacobsen<\/a> in 1958, this egg chair was used in the lobby and reception areas in Copenhagen\u2019s grand Royal Hotel. Jacobsen designed every aspect of the hotel, down to its furniture. His website states that \u201cThe Egg is one of the triumphs of Jacobsen\u2019s total design.\u201d<\/p>\n

Katelynn Bacher<\/h4>\n

These yellow-banded Easter salad plates would look beautiful on a dining table this Sunday. Beautifully illustrated with charming little bunnies, there\u2019s nothing not to love about these vintage-inspired dishes, great for desserts and appetizers, too.<\/p>\n

Margaret Donaldson<\/h4>\n

And finally, Margaret advises to, when in doubt, go with robin\u2019s egg blue. From adding a coat of robin\u2019s egg blue paint (like this Robin\u2019s Nest<\/a> hue from Benjamin Moore) to a special spot in your home to reupholstering with a fabric like this one by from Moda<\/a>, this sweet shade is always a winner.<\/p>\n
