Pun intended!<\/p>\n

We are\u00a0still\u00a0<\/em>making our way through the 500 or so images from High Point. It’s like going through your family’s vacation photos months later only to find images that remind you of just how wonderful the trip really was. That’s how we felt when we ran across images of our time spent with John Dransfield.<\/p>\n

John Dransfield is half of Dransfield and Ross<\/a>. \u00a0We were sad to not meet the other half of this creative duo, Geoffrey Ross. \u00a0Maybe next time! \u00a0When looking up a little background on the duo, we fell even more for their brilliance: John’s background is in fashion and Geoffrey’s is in interiors. \u00a0To quote their website, they curate a “collection of home goods with an idiosyncratic mix of textures and colors, infused with their encyclopedic knowledge of the decorative arts.” \u00a0What could possibly be better? \u00a0And to put the cherry on top, they happen to have the most precious great dane named Cooper<\/a> who gets his own tab on the website. \u00a0We knew we liked them.<\/p>\n

So back to the story, we were at the end of our day and boy, oh boy, were we dragging. \u00a0That is until we rounded the corner and happened upon the Dransfield and Ross booth. \u00a0We hardly knew where to begin with all of the incredible table dressings. \u00a0And by dressings, we mean dressings…not just table linens. \u00a0The collections just scream to be layered and assembled as you might put together the perfect party outfit. \u00a0Here are a few that we especially loved:<\/p>\n

The coloring and shape of the bottom placemat are so unique. The top layer, in darker orange, is almost like a messy basket. It comes in great colors. We ALL bought some for ourselves!<\/p><\/div>\n

We are 100% on board with the malachite trend. Loving the malachite napkin with green ostrich placemat…and don’t forget to top it off with your sparkly Christmas napkin ring.<\/p><\/div>\n

If the linens weren’t enough, John began to regale us with stories. \u00a0Where this idea came from, where that inspiration originated. \u00a0Come to find out, they collaborated with Tozai Home for a collection. \u00a0John gave us a personal tour of the collection! \u00a0Enjoy these photos of some of our favorites.<\/p>\n

The sharpened pencil mirror…John sharpened the pencils for the prototype. Can you imagine?<\/p><\/div>\n

Tired of cleaning the antique rug in the kitchen? These are printed canvas “rugs” that you just wipe off. How great for a kitchen, laundry room, kid’s playroom.<\/p><\/div>\n

More malachite. Who says that all the fun gets to happen on the outside? We love that they put the detail on the inside.<\/p><\/div>\n

An assortment with another printed floor canvas…the finial collection was modeled after their personal collection.<\/p><\/div>\n

While we could go on, you get the picture. \u00a0More than loving the collections that Dransfield and Ross are creating, we respect their process even more. \u00a0Thank you, John, for being a high point from market! \u00a0See you next time.<\/p>\n
